About
About Insurance Exam Ready
An independent study aid for US state insurance licensing exams, starting with the Texas General Lines Property and Casualty exam.
Who runs it
Insurance Exam Ready is run by Anthony Biggs, who is responsible for everything published on it: the lessons, practice questions, flashcards and the exam guide.
How the content is checked
Official sources decide the facts. Licensing requirements, exam figures and outline objectives come from the state regulator, the state's insurance statutes and rules, and the testing provider. Other exam prep companies are never used as a source for exam or licensing facts.
Every figure is stored with its source. Question counts, time limits, fees and statutory figures are recorded with the document they came from, the page or section, and the date it was read. A figure without that record is not published.
Each course follows one outline version. The course page names the official outline it is built on and the date that outline took effect. When a new outline is published, the course is updated to match it.
Practice questions are original. They are written for this course from the official outline. They are not recalled or copied from the live exam.
What this site is not
Insurance Exam Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Texas Department of Insurance, Pearson VUE or any other regulator or testing provider. It is not a pre-licensing education course, it does not provide continuing education credit, and it does not guarantee a pass.
Reporting an error
If something looks wrong, email privacy@insuranceexamready.com with the page and what you noticed. Confirmed errors are corrected at source, and the corrected article shows its new review date.
